The Grillo 11500 tiller offers maximum performance and sturdiness.
The mechanical gearbox with oil-bath gears has 3 forward gears plus reverse.
The 99 cm wide tiller has a tines diameter of 34 cm and consists of 6 tine stars and side discs. By using the extension kit or by removing tiller stars, it is possible to obtain different tilling widths.
The machine has two PTOs, one for spray pumps and one synchronized with the gearbox.

The Grillo 11500 is equipped with an active coupling device; the feed lever on the handlebar, when pressed, starts the rotation of the tines. When the lever is released, the tines stop immediately and the engine remains running. Maximum practicality and safety.

The oil-bath gear transmission has 3 speeds plus reverse and the gear lever is always within easy reach.
The tiller casing is made of cast iron for maximum strength.

Grillo 11500 is available with Honda GX200 and GX 270 petrol and KD15-350 diesel engines.
These are latest-generation engines with the best features for agricultural use including excellent torque at low revs. Sturdy, reliable and quiet, they are equipped with systems that reduce the force required for starting.
All engines are equipped with a front bumper as standard and oil bath filter suitable for work in very dusty areas.

The tines made of hardened steel are bolted together. The tiller shaft is hexagonal with a 27 mm hexagon.

The height-adjustable spur with 8 positions is oscillating.
When tilling very hard soil, the inverted spur can be used. In addition, to achieve a very tight turning radius, it is possible to exclude the stop that limits the oscillation of the spur.

Even when tilling uphill and on the coast, the Grillo 11500 rotary tiller is agile and effective because of its perfect balance.

The adjustable furrow opener replaces the spur and allows perfect furrows of the desired depth and width for seeding or irrigation.

Side discs should not be used when tilling hard soil that has never been tilled.
In softer soils, side discs become very useful: they help maintain direction, advance and protect neighboring crops from tilling.

The Grillo 11500 can also plough by fitting the optional kit consisting of a single plough or turner and wheels.

The handlebar is adjustable in height and laterally, with practical levers, without having to unscrew bolts or knobs. This makes it easy to work between plants, without stopping to avoid branches or obstacles.
The handlebar is mounted on anti-vibration dampers for a comfortable ride.

Two PTOs are fitted as standard on the Grillo 11500: the upper one has anti-clockwise rotation, is connected directly to the engine and has a splined shaft 11 UNI 221, the lower one has clockwise rotation synchronized with the gearbox and has a splined shaft 13 UNI 221.

All versions of the Grillo 11500 feature a front support foot with a spring-lock system as standard.

The optional front wheel is equipped with a practical spring device that automatically locks it in the working and transfer positions.

Cleaning and maintenance is very simple! You only need to check periodically the engine oil level and clean the filter. The gearbox doesn't need any maintenance. As with all Grillo products, the 11500 was designed and built to last plus retain its value over many years. All components, from the simplest to the most complex, are of a high quality standard. Grillo mounts last generation engines! Frame, handlebar, tiller, everything is built by Grillo in Italy, using the best materials and the latest technology to have high, consistent and 100% controlled quality.

Painting of all Grillo machines is made with a double electrostatic powder coating process. After washing and preparation, a first protective coat is applied then baked in a special oven; this has proven to be the best base for the application of the finish. The second coat consists of powder coating and further baking in an oven at 190°C; this gives the characteristic hardness and shine. All machines are assembled with care in every detail and tested scrupulously by trained personnel. Final inspection includes running the engine in order to check all its functions to guarantee a first class product.

All Grillo machines are distributed and serviced by a widespread dealer network. Spare parts remain available for many years after production has stopped giving you extra confidence in Grillo.
